Sculptures created as part of a residency, where a scientific research group and artist residency collide at a glacial lake.

The sculptures are positioned along a popular trail, and gradually leading away to smaller ones towards the lake, encouraging the viewer to decide whether to remain on the trail or veer away to the lesser known. First forms seen are reminiscent of the human body, evolving into others with an other-worldly feel derived from forms of microscopic organisms being studied at the sanctuary’s lab and the surrounding landscape.
